Electric Eye play droned out space-music. It sounds like a soundtrack to a movie that hasn’t been made yet. The quartet draws inspiration from blues, contemporary music, Indian ragas and cosmic exploration to craft a signature sound blending droned-out psych with hypnotic space elements, kosmische garage-blues, dystopian acid-prog, and experimental electronics. Their music often evokes expansive, otherworldly atmospheres, as heard in their evolving discography of studio albums, live recordings, and singles released primarily through independent labels like Fuzz Club Records.

Key releases include their debut album Pick-Up, Lift-Off, Space, Time (2013), which established their psychedelic foundations; Different Sun (2016), expanding into more intricate sonic landscapes; the critically acclaimed From the Poisonous Tree (2017); live albums Live at Blå (2016) and Live at Kulturkirken Jakob (2020) capturing their immersive performances; Horizons (2021), featuring tracks like “Put the Secret in Your Pocket”; and their most recent and ambitious work, Dyp Tid (2024), incorporating ambient and experimental textures amid Norway’s natural inspirations.

Electric Eye has built a reputation in the international psych scene through tours, festival appearances, and releases that highlight their commitment to evolving improvisation and thematic depth, often reflecting dystopian and mycelial motifs in their later works
